Hood Outdoors located in South Haven, MI was founded in 2019 by Harvey and Jennifer Lynn Hood. The South Haven and the surrounding area does not have a reliable place to purchase fishing, hunting, marine, and related products within a reasonable driving distance.
Hood Outdoors has answered the demands of customs by offering a large retail store that carries high end products for fishing (including live bait), hunting, marine electronics, clothing, and more. We have also built a large indoor archery range so customers can try the products we carry and we can provide helpful instruction.
In addition to carrying top end outdoor products, Hood Outdoors also offers custom services not available anywhere else. Some of the services offered include custom marine metalwork, marine electronics and installation, and boat cleaning/detailing. Harvey and Jennifer Lynn’s objective is very simple: provide high quality outdoor products at a reasonable price and have the knowledge and experience to provide intelligent advise and explain why and how to use ALL of their products.

Harvey is an avid lifetime hunter and fisherman. He is on the pro-staff for Martin Archery and has extensive tournament fishing experience. If you have a question, he can answer it.
Jennifer Lynn Hood
Co-Founder
Jennifer is the co-owner of Hood Outdoors and is currently a teacher at South Haven Public Schools. Her teaching background and love for the outdoors is ideal for teaching our youth.
